This is a memory. When I was a teenager we had a Spring Snow Storm. I had to ride from 3 AM to 1:30 PM to gather the newborns. My feet had gotten so cold I could not fell them.

"Snake Creek Roundup"

In West Texas between Toyahvale and Fort Davis the Snake Creek winds under the highway many times. The 06 Ranch uses the natural creek bed to herd their cattle to the "Red Pens" located at the ranch Headquarters.

This Painting commentates Buster's Charles Goodnight Award Acceptance and pays tribute to three contributions of the King Ranch to the horse and cattle industry: Santa Gustris cattle, Little Peppy, and Buster Welch.
